The I ❤ SG You've Never Seen
There is a version of the I ❤ SG graphic that lives on tote bags outside MRT stations and refrigerator magnets in airport gift shops. That version is not what you will find at DORS this National Day. What you will find is what happens when the graphic is handed to a generation of Singapore creatives and asked a different question: not what does this mean, but what could it mean?
The I ❤ SG Special Project is the hero retail initiative within HOMEGROWN, bringing together three Singapore brands — Wacky Wear, The Everyday Club, and New World Plaza — each of whom has taken the iconic motif and made it entirely their own. The result is not merchandise. It is a collectible. A contemporary, design-led product that celebrates Singapore through the unique lens of the people who actually live and create here.
Wacky Wear approaches the graphic with the irreverence of a label that has always treated clothing as a platform for personality. Their I ❤ SG tees — available in a boxy black cut and an oversized white — carry the motif in a way that reads less as declaration and more as deadpan. The kind of thing you wear because it is genuinely well-made and quietly funny, not because you are performing patriotism.
The Everyday Club, known for their design-led lifestyle objects, brings the graphic into the world of keychains, giant stickers, and art prints — objects that carry the symbol into daily life without any of the tourist-souvenir energy that usually comes with it. These are pieces designed to be used, not displayed on a shelf.
New World Plaza contributes a postcard that treats the format as seriously as the graphic — considered design, local perspective, the kind of thing you actually want to keep rather than post.
The I ❤ SG Special Project will continue beyond National Day, with new brands and collaborations joining the platform over time. But this first drop — available exclusively at DORS for the HOMEGROWN period — is the one that started it. Shop it in-store at Design Orchard and online at DORS.COM.SG while it lasts.
