Founded in 2019 by Cissy and Jasmine — an architect and a business humaniser, both mothers — MOMIJI began as a celebration of rattan's flexibility and strength, and a rejection of today's throw-away culture. Every piece is lovingly handcrafted by Indonesian artisans, sustaining their traditional skills and lineage, while designs are conceived in Singapore to be whimsical and fantastical — appealing to the inner child in every adult. Designed in Singapore and crafted in Indonesia, MOMIJI has since led Singapore in bespoke rattan design and now exports to the United States.
